New Delhi based SOLO, one of India's foremost and celebrated premium stationery brands has launched - TopCare, a product line dedicated to healthy and sustainable food packaging and cooking, starting with Food Wrapping as well as Baking and Cooking Paper. After years of research, SOLO introduced TopCare to put an end to the rampant use of fatal aluminum foils which leaches into our bodies.
Ecommerce  
Packaging company Amcor has introduced new range of stock polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, named OmniPack, to help co-packers meet their demand for ecommerce-ready packaging. The new OmniPack stock PET bottles have been designed to increase capacity and reduce downtime due to their same diameter with the same finish.
  Sustainable Packaging
Nestlé is intensifying its actions to make 100% of its packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025 and to reduce its use of virgin plastics by one-third in the same period. The company announced a series of new initiatives that include a USD 30 million investment to increase food-grade recycled plastics in the US, a refillable system for pet food in Chile and first-of-its-kind recyclable paper packaging for Maggi bouillon cubes in France.
Flexible Packaging  
Aerolam has invested Rs 100 crores to set up a manufacturing at Ahmedabad. The new plant will be dedicated to manufacturing innovative bubble guards and cast polypropylene films (CPP) among other products. Bubble guards find its applications in a range of sectors that include packaging, construction, automobile and printing, while CPP has its applications in food and pharmaceutical packaging.
