  INDIA ANNOUNCES RS 20 LAKH CRORE COVID RELIEF PACKAGE
  The mega Rs 20 lakh crore stimulus package announced on Tuesday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring economy on track, and focuses on tax breaks for small businesses as well as incentives for domestic manufacturing. The combined package works out to roughly 10 per cent of the GDP, making it among the most substantial in the world.

AIPMA RECOMMENDS MINISTRY OF MSME TO BAN IMPORT OF PLASTICS FINISHED GOODS FROM CHINA

HENKEL EXPANDS RECYCLABLE PAPER PACKAGING RE RANGE
Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel has expanded its recyclable paper packaging RE range with the launch of heat seal coating. Named as Loctite Liofol HS 2809-22 RE, the product has also been granted certification for its recyclability with paper.

The first webinar of PackPlus received an overwhelming response from the industry
  The Covid-19 pandemic has had a considerable impact on the Indian packaging industry. The industry is facing many challenges aroused due to this lockdown. Availability of raw materials, prevention of infection via packaging, recyclability and safety are the major concerns. To address these issues a webinar was hosted by PackPlus on 28 Apr 2020. With over 1269 unique attendees from India, USA, Singapore, Germany, UK, Hong Kong, Japan and many other countries attended the webinar and recorded a great success.
